Case Studies
Griffith University’s Venice Art Study Tour
Griffith University students took part in an immersive Art Study Tour in Venice, where they engaged with the Venice Biennale and other globally significant galleries and design institutions. Led by Dr Susan Best and Dr Julie F., the program deepened students’ understanding of international contemporary art, curatorial practice, and the global art scene. Through guided visits, academic discussions and cultural exploration, students developed critical thinking, visual literacy, and a broader appreciation of artistic expression in a global context.
