Welcome University of Tasmania Students

CISaustralia works closely with the University of Tasmania to deliver quality experiences and outcomes for students seeking to study overseas as a part of their degree. CISaustralia signed a formal agreement with the University of Tasmania (29 July 2016) to ensure student safety and programs are of the highest standard.

All UTAS students should apply for programs directly with CISaustralia.

We strongly recommend students contact the Learning Abroad Office to discuss your study plan, course approval, financial assistance, and pre-departure.

Pre-Approved Programs for University of Tasmania Students

The following programs have been pre-approved for academic credit by University of Tasmania. To check your eligibility for academic credit, please contact the UTAS Abroad office, your Faculty Advisor or Course Convenor. CISaustralia strongly recommends that you have any overseas courses pre-approved for academic credit before you depart for your program. Documentation that may be useful are the course name, course code, course description and syllabus (all available from the CISaustralia website). Contact a CISaustralia Advisor if any questions.

All CISaustralia programs have been pre-approved for unspecified elective credit – please complete the course approval process, to ensure you are able to receive credit back towards your degree.

The unit I studied, the people I met, and the country I was studying in [were the best parts]. I could not recommend studying abroad more. Not only do you get the experience of studying in a different country, but you also get to live in a different culture and meet so many amazing people along the way! As cheesy as it sounds, it’ll definitely help you to grow as a person.

July in London, England

I absolutely loved studying in a city known as being at the heart of the Italian Renaissance. It was so surreal to be able to simply walk around the cobble stoned streets looking around with history at my eye level. It was such a fascinating city to study in and every day was such an incredible cultural immersion. To be able to soak up a culture to this extent was something rather magical. Live life following your dreams and don’t let fear hold you back.

January in Florence, Italy

Zambia was such an unforgettable, life changing experience and I’m so glad to have had the opportunity to do it! Be open to explore more local areas rather then just the tourist hot spots. It gives you a real feel of true Zambian culture, and you learn so much from it.

Women’s Empowerment in Zambia

Take the opportunity! My internship was the perfect fit for what I was looking to achieve. The staff involved in supporting me throughout the internship were professional, friendly and helpful, adding to the value of the internship as well! The experience is invaluable and it is such an affordable way to undertake an overseas work experience. I am so glad I undertook a virtual internship with CISaustralia.
