Welcome Flinders University Students

CISaustralia is proud to support Flinders University and their students. CISaustralia and Flinders University signed a formal partnership agreement in 2014 and ever since have worked closely to send qualified Flinders students abroad, on many different programs to many different locations. This partnership enables students greater access to our overseas programs and ensures they have the best possible experience abroad! We are very proud of our close and long-standing partnership with Flinders. We take great pleasure in providing high-quality customer service and in supporting both students and academic staff to develop long-term sustainable programs abroad, which are most importantly for academic credit.

Studying abroad is the best decision I’ve ever made. You can’t possibly ask me to choose a ‘best part’ because the trip was jam-packed full of experiences, people, and learning. Being able to study cross-cultural psychology plus a language and being able to put those things straight into practice, with the support of the other students, was such a fantastic way to learn. Staying with a host family brought a whole new level to my experience, I’m so glad I had the opportunity to live like that.

July in Barcelona, Spain

This was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life! Well run, ethical program that gave me the opportunity to partake in a diverse range of activities including teaching English, assisting with water runs to villages and teaching sports to the school children. I had wonderful support from [the] staff. I would recommend this program to any student or aspiring volunteer wishing to learn more about Khmer culture and help some children truly in need. I found it a truly refreshing and humble experience that filled me with so much joy.

Teaching and Community Development in Cambodia

An excellent experience. Very well organised and fun. My host family was very accommodating and welcoming. The course content was challenging, but in a good way!

January in San Jose, Costa Rica

This opportunity is incredible. It is immersive, interesting, beautiful and fun. I would recommend it to anyone.

January in Noumea, New Caledonia

Do it. 110% do it. You will not regret it. If you have the chance to study in a location you’ve always wanted to go, why would you say no? There is so much to see, and all of it is beautiful. The excursions and the friends that I have made [were the best parts]. I’ve learnt so much, and been able to share it with some of the best people I’ve ever met, I’m so grateful for this experience.

January in Florence, Italy

I would definitely recommend it. I made life long friends even though the course was only 2 weeks! I thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

January in Florence, Italy

Just do it. Costa Rica is beautiful and the host families are so welcoming and really make you feel at home. The immersion into Costa Rican life and Spanish learning [was the best part]. I loved my host family [and the Site Director] was fantastic.

January in San Jose, Costa Rica

Making new friends, receiving a high level of education, [and] being able to travel while studying [were the best parts]. Take every opportunity to try something. The activities and excursions were really fun and I looked forward to them.

July in Florence, Italy

The best part of my program abroad was immersing myself in the new culture and making new life long friends! Thank you CISaustralia for making my trip memorable and easy!!

July in Florence, Italy

The experience and friends I met along the way [was the best part], plus getting to explore new cities and a new country I had never been to but always wanted to see… it ended up being one of the best times I had. The excursions/activities were excellent and really fun. [The Site Director] was fantastic.

July in Boston, USA
