Welcome RMIT University Students

CISaustralia is proud to support RMIT University and their students. CISaustralia and RMIT University signed a formal partnership agreement in 2016 and ever since have worked closely to send qualified RMIT students abroad, on many different programs to many different locations. This partnership enables students greater access to our overseas programs and ensures they have the best possible experience abroad! We are very proud of our close and long-standing partnership with RMIT. We take great pleasure in providing high-quality customer service and in supporting both students and academic staff to develop long-term sustainable programs abroad, which are most importantly for academic credit.

RMIT University Scholarships & Grants

RMIT offers a range of funding options for students, from $1,000 Global Experience mobility grants to scholarships worth up to $10,000. You can only qualify for one funding opportunity per global experience. You will be considered for all possible options, but please be aware that due to quotas and eligibility, RMIT cannot guarantee that you will qualify for financial assistance.

  • New Colombo Plan mobility grants – funding available for a global experience in the Indo-Pacific region – check the program description on Mobi to find out if this applies to your program.
  • RMIT Equity Travel Grant – financial assistance for Australian students on a global experience who can demonstrate financial and educational disadvantage – the grant provides up to $4,000 depending on your program and destination.
  • Global Experience mobility grants – funding of $1,000 available for students who are not eligible for any other form of funding (such as OS-HELP) which includes international students, postgraduate students not supported by HECS HELP and vocational education students. These grants are not guaranteed due to limited funding and are automatically awarded to eligible students.
