Priscilla is currently in her third year studying a Bachelors of Environmental Science (Environmental Management and Sustainability) degree at Deakin University. She always wanted to project the idea of global education and cultural sensitivity to students across the nation, showing them that there is an opportunity to go for global travel with assistance and support. She participated in two volunteering opportunities with CISaustralia in Nepal and Thailand with the help of Deakin University. This not only allowed her to gain more experience in different fields of environmental sustainability, but also allowed her to understand and respect the cultural sensitivity and diversity that contrasts so differently from Australia’s social norms. Priscilla states, "I personally recommend overseas studying or volunteering as a form of multidisciplinary education that not only benefits personal growth, but also awareness and acceptance of other cultures and ethnicities."

Her first study abroad experience was in high school, travelling around Japan on a cultural exchange. Following this trip, she travelled all over Asia with friends and family, but always longed to travel again as a student.
Olivia studied Intensive Spanish in CISaustralia’s July in Barcelona program. With a limited knowledge of Spanish, she was in awe of how much she learnt and how many lifelong friends she made in such a short time!
In her spare time, Olivia loves to go to the gym, play beach volleyball, play music, and ruin all her exercise by eating too much food. She is very excited to share her experiences with other students and encourage them to take the plunge!
