Travel through multiple countries (and continents!), visiting 14 cities while you earn academic credit towards your degree – all in just under 3 weeks! This program emphasises the European-North African overlap in Morocco, Spain and France (and Gibraltar) through a focus on political, social and cultural observations.

On the January in Morocco, Spain and France program you will visit 14 cities in 3 countries, experiencing essential aspects of Moroccan, Spanish and French culture – all in just under three weeks. You’ll have the opportunity to compare and contrast the cultures and landscapes and explore these fascinating countries with local guides as well as academic, literary and political experts.

There’s so much to see – You’ll engage in cultural discussions throughout your program while you travel from the lavender fields of southern France to the bustling markets of Marrakesh. From the mosques of Morocco to the museums of Madrid, this program will provide you with an experience unlike any other. 

Travel while you earn credit – This program offers 7 university-level courses in a range of subjects so you can choose the best course for you (each student will take one course during the program - 10 credit points). If you are interested in art history, cultural studies, foreign languages or political science (and ideally a little of all four) this program is for you!

Welcome to Gibraltar – This British territory is located at the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula, the entrance to the Mediterranean, and is known as a crossroad of two very different worlds. See for yourself how this exciting location plays a huge role in the region’s geo-politics.
